About apArt Private Gallery
apArt Private Gallery is an art gallery built inside an apartment. Founder Thais Marin and her husband, Leo Macias , renowned artist and advertising creative director, first opened apArt’s iconic blue door in 2013 at their home in the traditional neighborhood of Jardins, São Paulo, Brazil.
Currently apArt is also present in Bogota, Colombia, and New York City, USA, with the support of entrepreneur and apArt EVP Maria Ines Moraes.
apArt was inspired by Christian Boros, a German communications entrepreneur who transformed a former WWII bunker in Berlin in an art gallery and in the home where he currently lives with his wife.
Serving as a cultural hub, apArt also stages artist residency, private events, book release parties, intimate pocket shows or pop-ups, and any other cultural or private events, receiving more than 5.000 visitors, 500 art pieces, almost 100 artists.
Being a trendsetter, apArt boosts the art rental, spreading the business to the growth of the art market in general. Also encourage people to buy art for in the near future become collectors.

inOut Cannes Art Exhibition will showcase work by Ale Burset, Alma Har’el, Andre Gola, Angela Bassichetti, Chacho Puebla, Dan Alva, Eva Santos, Fernando Machado, Guillermo Tragant, Jason Peterson, Juan Carlos Castro, Julien Calot, Leo Macias, Marcello Serpa, Martin de Thurah, Michael Haussman, Nathalie Huni, Susan Credle and Suzana Apelbaum among other influential industry visionaries at its French Riviera pop-up location. inOut Cannes Art Exhibition follows the concept of the apArt Private Gallery founded in Sao Paulo (Brazil) to encourage artists to explore their own art, to network with other artists and connect with art lovers in a private environment through scheduled appointments.

The opening night festivities will be “Invitation Only” with a pre-exhibit press hour on June 19th from 4pm-5pm.
