As a Creative Director with over 15 of experience specializing in fashion, beauty and luxury brands, I offer strategic storytelling with an eye and heart for the iconic, global-minded and fearlessly innovative.
In 2018 I joined R/GA as Creative Director of Coty accounts Clairol and Wella. Before that I was at Grey for almost 4 years as lead Creative Director on two global accounts: Gillette Venus and Braun Female, following some time on Pantene and Cover Girl. Previously, I spent 7 years as Creative Director of Vogue Studio, U.S. Vogue Magazine’s in-house creative agency, leading a team to produce targeted national and global advertising, integrated campaigns and branded content for various Condé Nast clients, including L’Oréal, Cointreau, Valentino, H&M and Cadillac, among others. I have collaborated with some of the world's top creative talent, including photographers and directors such as Nick Knight, Ellen Von Unwerth, Raymond Meier, Michael Thompson, Norman Jean Roy, Arthur Elgort, Sebastian Kim, Greg Kadel, Guy Aroch, Lachlan Bailey, Vincent Peters, Terry Richardson, Mariano Vivanco, Victor Demarchelier, Gilles Bensimon, Ben Hassett, Philip Andelman, Jonas Åkerlund and Peggy Sirota.
Before Vogue I was Art Director at Condé Nast Media Group, focusing on concept development and art direction of custom publications, advertising campaigns (including digital video, print and outdoor) and integrated platforms for corporate accounts and new business pitches. Clients included: Microsoft, Lexus, Audi, Mercedes, Chrysler, Toyota, Johnson & Johnson, Olay.
I was born in León, Mexico and grew up in Boston. I'm an avid yoga and meditation practitioner. I'm also a contributing editorial Creative Director, having directed photo shoots for Vogue Mexico and currently for Harper's Bazaar Turkey. I occasionally teach mindfulness meditation at MNDFL and also continue to make and show mixed media art in New York.
